Hulpvraag van Arta
Hello! My name is Arta, I'm a 33 year old english speaking (learning dutch) latvian girl in a wheelchair.
I am looking for one caretaker able to work under the PGB and opleidingsniveau minimaal 3, with an AGB code. Any nationality female caretaker between the ages of 25-50, with an ability to lift me/transfer me from wheelchair to bed and back, also bathroom. I am about 50kg in weight. I'd enjoy working with an accepting, open minded, positive person, my interests are about current events, design, music, makeup.
I already have a team of 2, but am looking for an additional person. I am looking for someone who is flexible time-wise and lives nearby or doesn’t mind the travel, a weekend morning person for getting up, getting dressed, making breakfast (approximately 10:30-13:30). At the moment on Sundays only.
Occasionally one of my caretakers goes on vacation so sometimes replacing some shifts is helpful (this is every day 10:30-13:30). Sometimes there's a "last-minute" task (I ask a day before) or need for help which I ask if anyone in my team is able to do, so I'd like to be able to ask and you could tell me if it's possible or not. This is where flexibility and mutual understanding are important. I'm also understanding of sudden situations if you have to come a little later/earlier or have to make changes/adjustments.
Sometimes I need someone to go to a doctor's appointment or to do groceries, caretakers usually push my wheelchair outdoors, but I do it myself in my apartment. Occasionally we go together to shop, oftentimes I give a shopping list. I also always want to try and keep the house tidy so some days we do cleaning tasks like dusting, vacuuming, kitchen cleaning, floor washing, so it depends on what's necessary on that day.
I live in an apartment in Riverienbuurt area, RAI and Europaplein stations are a 10 minute walk.
My rate currently is € 35 per hour, If it's a longer day of an appointment or so, then it can stretch for up to 4-6h, but this happens rarely on sundays. This might be in case you’re filling in someone else shift or there’s a special occasion.
I would definitely need to communicate in english day to day. You don't have to have perfect english! :) Let's do a video call if this sounds like a match.
